A Full House for June

Next Market – Saturday 4^th June 10.00am to 12.30pm

There is such a lot going on in Silchester in June. For a small village we certainly pack a lot in. Hopefully the weather will be kind to all the events laid on! A big thank you to all those who volunteer their time and efforts to make them happen on our behalf.

The next Village Market, will soon be here with old favourites and some new stalls to pop along to see also. 23 stalls again this month. A full house!

For nice things to eat and drink, we have an enviable and wide range of home-made preserves, chutneys, jellies, curds and marmalades by Felicity, Olga and Sandi; local hand-made condiments by Neil; local free range eggs from Bloomfield Hatch Farm; fresh Arabica coffee by The Coffee House; Wyatts will be there with meat for your barbeque and your Sunday breakfast! Artisan bread, biscuits and cake from Great Little Bakery, Mortimer Cakes and Suzi and Jane; fresh and local cheeses from The Cheese Agent; and fresh fish and fishcakes from Devon fishcakes.

Great Little Bakery Stollen

NEW for this month we have Susan Gritti who will be bringing her photographic art; and Jen Mackinder with her Stella and Dot Jewellery and accessories. Always popular for gifts or treat yourself. NEW Steven Krall Design will also be debuting at the Market. Steven is a welder/metal artist living in Bramley who makes and sells indoor and outdoor metal sculpture as well as all manner of iron work, including railings, plant hooks, wine racks, shelving, and furniture.

NEW We are pleased to welcome school fundraising group, True Colour, who will be practicing their entrepreneurial skills selling their acrylic and resin coasters for a school project.

NEW Local manufacturer Deluxe Materials will be joining us to showcase locally his craft and hobby products. John will be happy to answer your crafting questions and provide some unique powerful solutions to craft and hobby and DIY uses of all types. You can download their catalogue from here:

We will have different selections of hand crafted cards, gift wrap and tags and Jewellery and very tasty hand-made chocolates.

Love Phoebe Vintage Lighting

Love Phoebe will be back with their bespoke vintage lighting and Isla Boo will be returning with her range of handmade children’s clothes. .

Plants for the garden await you. For our Furry Friends Annette from Husse will be outside with her premium pet food, treats and accessories. Annette will be pleased to provide you samples for your pets to try.
