November Market News and Line-up
Our October Market was blighted by heavy rainfall but the “show” still went on and many customers braved the elements to bring their apples for pressing, fortunately under cover of a very large gazebo!
To get over the horrible weather many hit the bottle and the wine tasting offered by Flowitt Hill Wines was very popular! We also had some beautiful autumn flowers on sale which were quickly snapped up and I am pleased to say Janet will be returning in November with more of the same.
I am very pleased to share with you some feedback received by Olga from a lovely couple in Mortimer.
“We very much enjoy coming to the Market and appreciate the diverse range of local foodstuffs. We enjoy the excellent coffee and lovely selection of eats. Above all the friendliness of the people is valued and are a reason we like to support the Market”
My Apple Juice will be back again ready to receive and press apples. Ben Paul will be bringing along his popular
handmade wrought iron work. Ideal at this time of year when we start to think about lighting the fire and looking for something stylish to put the logs in, or a boot rack for the wellies!!
Did I mention cake? NEW for November only we have Huntington-Bourne Bakery who will be bringing mince pies made “differently”!; Apple strudel; parsnip and orange cake; baked cheesecake; baklava; and spinach and coconut cake! What a selection to add to the tasty eats from Great Little Bakery, Mortimer Cakes and “pop-up” favourites Suzi & Jane.
Little London Brewery will be returning to showcase their award winning brews. A great time to order for those Christmas gatherings.

Plans are moving a pace for the Christmas Market on Friday 2nd December (4-7.00pm). I would love to arrange some musical accompaniment if anyone knows of any musical groups that might be able to help provide a festive atmosphere that afternoon.
Warmest regards
